Top Drawer Visit. Kolo Pen Test. Lamali Indigo Notebook.

Featured Products:

The best stationery is discovered through use. This film spans a visit to Topdrawer, an in-store Kolo pen test, and a new Lamali indigo notebook experiment. Every page is tested with the tools I reach for most to see which ones deserve a permanent place in the rotation. Some performed well. Two stood apart. The rest is on paper.

Coffee. Lunch. Notebook.

Featured Products:

Some thoughts aren't meant to stay in your head. They keep repeating themselves until you give them somewhere to land.

Every notebook in my collection has a job. This one is where I keep the thoughts that deserve another conversation with myself.

I carry it because I know I'll leave every place with something worth keeping: a sentence, an observation, a question or an idea worth returning to. It's my place for the ideas that arrive over coffee and the questions that show up at lunch. All observations I don't trust my memory to hold., documented for me to return to.

Thank you to Jimmy at LaCabra for allowing me to film his art making.
